PHEW!! I only got to start watching partway through the third perdio--just in time to see Jersey scorre ^^;;--so when the Ducks blew their lead, I was afraid they were done for! During the break between the end of regulation time and the start of overtime, I did get a chance to see one of the goals that Brodeur let in, however. How on earth does a goalie manage to lose his stick like that? I think it's even worse than Cechmanek losing his glove against the Leafs, because it looked like Brodeur actually deflected the puck in himself. Yikes!
But yeah, thank goodness the Ducks won this won! Now they only need three more!! Realistically I know that the odds are in Jersey's favour, but I still want them to win!! Or at least push the Devils to six or seven games! That way I can have more time to work on my Roy layout. =P I don't know if I should buy some Roy photos from eBay or not. It's tempting since I don't have a lot of materials for a fitting tribute layout, but I've been spending money quite freely of late, and I think I need to show some restraint, so...
Guess we'll see! Sorry I wasn't really on MSN today Lisa! I took my mom shopping (plus I wanted to shop myself) and then I had a meeting, so...I probably won't be on until after 9pm EST tomorrow either.
Speaking of shopping, I got some really cool NHL jello moulds (or is it "molds"? I can never remember)!!! Hockey parties at my place next season are going to be a lot of fun!! =D I'm very excited!!
Geh, I was just going through my site and I realized that for some strange reason the Avalanche photos (Media > Photos > Colorado Avalanche) get cut off rather than simply starting on the next line. I don't know why this happes on this page when it doesn't on the Leafs photo page, which also has more than one row's worth of pics. Geh. I don't know why! I bet it's some really dumb mistake that I just keep overlooking. Any help would be appreciated!
That was SO awful to watch!! I don't consider myself a Ducks fan, even though I'm cheering for them, so I don't really know why I felt compelled to watch the slaughter until the bitter end. Dang! I hate to see teams come so far and choke. I want the Ducks to win, but I really don't know if they have the character to come back from a 2-0 Jersey series lead. Up to now they hadn't faced any real adversity in the playoffs, so yeah, I really don't know if the Ducks can come back from this.
Boooooo!!!! Ah well, I still like Giguere, but maybe I'd better work on my Roy tribute layout sooner rather than later, since this might be a really short Stanley Cup final. ^^;;
Oh, and I'm SO upset with myself for missing most of "After Forty Minutes"! It's not available to download either. =*( If I had been downstairs maybe I could've taped the thing on Roy. BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! (I think I'm more upset about this than the Ducks losing. =P)
At long last, I've got my Giguere layout ready at the RHF main page!! Please check it out! And if anyone could tell me why my css isn't working for the unvisited links (they're supposed to be colour #336666, but they're navy in my browser, for some reason ^^;;), I'd greatly appreciate it!! Please comment on the new layout as well! I worked hard on it, so if it really sucks I'm not likely to change it completely, but I might make some adjustments. =P
I know it's stupid to regret things that you didn't have control over, but I just wish I could've "discovered" hockey earlier, maybe then I would've had a chance to watch Roy play. If you haven't yet, definitely check out the various clips from the press conference available at 9News.com. I wish there was someplace I could actually download these clips, because they're great. I especially like the one with Sakic in it--I think it's the one where Roy's answering questions. Well, hopefully they'll make a dvd about Roy, because it's the only way I'll get to see him in action now.
Anyway, I went a little bit crazy and bought lots of newspapers today--Toronto Sun, le journal de Montréal, presse, and The (Montreal) Gazette--just for their stuff on Roy. =P I also made an email inquiry to the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News about getting today's papers sent here. *sigh* He will be missed, but I really admire the way he made his decision and stuck with it. Plus I'm glad for him that he'll be able to spend more time with his family. It's not like he's going to be totally removed from hockey either--maybe now's the time to look into catching a Quebec Remparts (if that's the correct name) game. =P November is going to be an exciting time, with him being inducted into the HHOF and all (really, is there any question?). Maybe they'll add an entire Roy exhibit, that'd be awesome!!
More hockey news today: I went to the ACC job fair and applied at the retail store (Centresports). The guy who screened me is the store manager. I was pretty worried because I have little to none service experience--just my grade seven and eight lunch sales and a brief stint at Swiss Chalet--but I think it went pretty well. When he asked me about my work at the bank, I said that it's fun because I get along well with my coworkers and we laugh and joke together a lot. As it turned out, that was a "right answer" since he's looking for people who will develop good relationships with their coworkers. It makes sense, since on game nights things are only busy for fifteen to twenty minutes, in between periods, and then there's forty-five minutes when you don't have anything to do except hang out with your coworkers. The way he explained it--d'oh! I forgot his name, I was so nervous ^^;;--it's more inviting for people to walk in seeing workers smiling and chatting rather than standing around waiting for business, or something like that. He said he was looking for character and personality, since people could be trained for skills. I thought that was pretty cool. Anyway, my main point is that he said he was interested in me, and that I should be getting a call to arrange a formal interview!!!
I'm SOOOO excited! I think they're only hiring 15 people or something, so I'm not really expecting that I'll be hired, but I would really love it if I could be! I've never been so excited about a job before in my life! I really really want to do this!
Oh, and a funny thing, when he asked why I wanted to work there, I was completely honest and said it was because I recently fell in love with hockey and just wanted to work somewhere where I could share that passion! I thought I sounded silly, but it seemed like he took my answer in a positive light. ^________^ I was so happy, my face was ready to crack from smiling so much, and I kept talking about it at work. I called my mom to tell her that I'd made it past the screening process too!!
Now I've just got to prepare better for the real interview! I didn't give any little anecdotes or personal experience stories to explain my answers, which I've read is something you should do. And now that I think of it, I had a really good one that would show what I would look for in customer service--about the Centresports store too! =P Ah well, maybe I'll have a chance to use it next time. I don't know how much I really CAN prepare though, I mean, I really don't have any useful service experience, I'm pretty much just counting on my enthusiasm and earnestness to impress. Well, we'll see what happens. If I don't get hired I can try again next year, I'm sure!
Geh. This is getting long, and I haven't even gotten to all my recent hockey purchases yet either! ^_~ Maybe I'll save that for the next post (possibly later tonight, if I can get RHF done!
Argh! I've got so much I want to talk about, but if you look at the time of this post, you'll realize that I've stayed up WAY too late as it is!! Not only do I have work tomorrow, but the ACC part-time job fair thing is tomorrow, so I want to be awake and aware for that! I did a half-baked job on finishing my resumé since I had to tutor and do softball stuff first, but the important thing is that I got it done!
So yeah, biggest thing I suppose I HAVE to get out of my system is ROY RETIRING?!?! NOOOOOOOOO!!!! I mean, it's great for him, that he knows himself and his priorities, but I never got to see him play live!! I couldn't get to an any Avs games this year, but I was going to do EVERYTHING to get to one next year! (ToT) Shattered dreams... Of course, the announcement isn't official yet, but it's hard to doubt all those "Avalanche sources". =*(
Second thing I have to get out of my system is Ducks lost! =/ I didn't really expect them to be able to steal the two away games from Jersey like they've been able to do to all their other opponents, but that didn't make me less unhappy at the final outcome of the game: 3-0. =( I think it wouldn't have been as bad had the final score been 1-0. Sure the third goal was an empty netter, but it still makes things look even worse. Bah, they'd better win Thursday!
Oh, and I haven't had time to finish off my new RHF layout yet, but I'm going to do my best to get it up tomorrow! The main problem is that I didn't really do my content pages properly the first time; even though I used CSS, I still did a lot of formatting in the content files, so now I have to get rid of all that and set it up properly for CSS. I also gave up on trying to do frame stuff with CSS, and instead put an iframe in a div tag. =P Lazy, but it works! I just wish I could figure out how to get the scrollbar on the left side instead of the right, without reversing the alignment of the entire thing.
Last thing for tonight: my J.S. Giguere fanlisting has been approved! Much love to Lisa for agreeing to host and design the site!! <3 You're awesome!!
I'll definitely let everyone know when it's up and running!! ^_^ So exciting!!!
Finally something's gone the way I wanted it to in this playoff!! =P Jersey and Anaheim, woohoo!! I didn't even find out the score of the game until my dad came home around midnight because I was taping Giguere's appearance on Jay Leno--I was afraid I'd miss it if I changed channels or went upstairs to check the score or something.
Jiggy was right, he's not all that good at being funny. ^_~ But that was okay, because I thought his earnestness was...sweet. Besides, Leno's a good enough host to be able to make Giguere seem a bit more entertaining for the non-hockey mad viewers than Giguere would be on his own.
If the Ducks win the Cup, I'm definitely buying the dvd, just so I can see all of Jiggy's great saves, especially that one against Detroit where his mask got knocked off. That looked really cool.
Oh, and speaking of appearances and Jiggy, this is what I want my new RHF main site to look like. I don't know if it's any good though. Do you think it's a bit too busy? Also, I want to have the content going down the left, but I don't know if there's anyway I can use the div tags to make frames. I don't want the right sidebar part or background to have to be refreshed though, just the left content portion. Is that possible? I'm not totally sure... Tell me what you think, please! And soon! I want to get this done before Tuesday and the first final game!
Stoopid Senators!!! (>_<) Grrrrrrr.... C'mon Jersey, don't make me eat my words!! If the Devils don't win game seven, I'm going to be very upset! Not as upset as when Colorado lost of course (nothing could be worse than that, except maybe a final game seven loss), but I've really got my heart set on Jersey playing Anaheim!
Ah well, I guess I shouldn't really care since I'm cheering for the Ducks anyway. =P
Speaking of the Ducks, I just realized that if I want to do a Giguere layout, I'm going to have to have good pictures to use! ^^;; I've got one pretty good one from my Hockey News, but other than that...I wonder how big I can blow up a scan of my Giguere jersey card... ^_~ It's actually a really good picture. Since I'm pretty much free this Saturday except for the night, when I'm finally watching Matrix: Reloaded (still haven't seen X2 though ^^;;), I'm going to try to get the Giguere layout done then. Hmm...Maybe I'll hook up my scanner now and at least have the pictures ready so I can just go...But I also want to fiddle around with div tags, so maybe that might be an even better thing to start with...
Anyway, I still haven't heard back about the Jiggy fanlisting yet. One more week before I find out one way or the other!
Oh oh oh! I also bought 15 Joe Sakic cards off of eBay for $2.25. =P Hopefully they'll turn out to be as nice as I'm expecting them to be.
Boo! I kind of expected Ottawa to last at least one more game, but I was really hoping Jersey would just finish 'em off today. Ah well. If Jersey wins the next game, does that mean the final will start on the Sunday, or maybe Saturday? That could work out even better, since I wouldn't have been able to watch Friday night (which is when they would've played had the Devils won tonight) anyway. =P Everyone can come watch hockey at my place if the Ducks and Devils start playing on the weekend!
Let's just hope I don't have to eat my words, since I've been pretty much assuming New Jersey is going to beat Ottawa. ^^;; It's entirely possible that the Sens have got more heart than I've given them credit for.
Oh, and remember how I was debating about whether I should do a Roy, Kaberle or Forsberg layout next for the main RHF site? Well, I've decided that as soon as I get the chance (hopefully before this weekend) I'm going to make a Giguere layout! =P It's going to be a bit of a pain to do since I don't have a scanner set up in my room currently (there isn't any space), but I'm quite determined!
Speaking of Giguere, still no word on the Giguere fanlisting. Of course, it hasn't even been a week yet, so I've still got a week and some before I find out... ^_~
Looks like it'll be Anaheim and Jersey as I had hoped! I know that Ottawa hasn't been eliminated yet, but I really don't think they have enough character to come back from a 3-1 series deficit to win, especially the way they lost tonight. Letting in five goals out of twenty is pretty weak, and it's not like Jersey is considered particularly offensively talented either. So yeah, I believe that the Sens are finished.
Now I'm just awaiting the finals!! I want the Ducks to win!!!
Oh ye of little faith!! My coworkers were all telling me that Minnesota would win tonight, but I said I wanted Jiggy to get another shut out tonight. And guess what, Minnesota a big fat ZERO and the Ducks have FOUR!!! Mwa ha ha ha ha!!! The Wild are SO going down! Yes, this is DEFINITELY worthy of a dance!!
I'm going to have to turn in soon, but I managed to watch some of the first period of the Wild-Duck game--Rucchin's goal, YES!!!--so I'm happy. ^_^ Today has been a good hockey day. Apart from buying a plaqued picture of my Kaberle, I also got to see the Men are from Mars store, which has got tons of cool hockey related stuff!! I could feel my future paycheques flying away into that place!! =D Since I don't want to repeat myself, you can read more about that at LS. And yes, I am promoting myself yet again. ^_~
I got a partial refund from the Toronto Star since they had automatically billed my credit card for my res subscription in April up to May 20th and I ended service around the 4th. Since I already paid off my entire bill, the money that I got back was money I had already spent, so I didn't feel guilty for going out and respending it. =P If you're confused, well the important part is that I had a negative balance due on my credit card, so I used that to pay for some hockey stuff today: a plaqued 8x10 Kaberle picture, to be precise. =D
Unfortunately it's a bit banged up since this picture wasn't wrapped and it was the only one of this particular pose (the other one wasn't nearly as nice looking), but that's okay, because I'm still so very happy with it!! My conversation with one of the guys working there went somethng like this:
Him - "So what've you got there?"
Me - "A Kaberle picture!! =D"
Him - "Why're you getting that?"
Me - "Because I like Kaberle!! ^_^"
Him - "Well, Kaberle's a good young defenseman. He should be with the Leafs for another couple of years."
Me - (in my head) "Don't say 'a couple of years' I want him to stay with the Leafs forever!!!!"
So that was interesting. I was pretty impressed that they actually had plaqued pictures of Kaberle available. Other than Kaberle, I think they only had Al Mo, Belfour, Sundin, Tucker/Corson and Domi, so I guess Kaberle's more appreciated than I thought.
Oh oh oh!! And there's a job fair for part-time employment at the ACC on May 28th, from like 9am to sometime in the night!! I wanna go during lunch and check it out, and drop off resumes!! I know my ultimate goal is to work for the Hockey Hall of Fame, but the ACC is hockey-related too, so that'd be pretty good as well! Except, my resume is horrible... I've never actually had to depend on my resume to get me a job, so I haven't the faintest idea how I should write one and tailor it to a job at the ACC. Anyone feel like helping me? Alan, I know you're pretty busy with class and all, but you're pretty good with that kind of stuff (or so it seems to me) so... Anyone, I'll probably email you or talk to you in person. =P
So yes, today's been a very exciting and good day!
And New Jersey soundly thumped the Sens yesterday! Mwa ha ha!! I know everyone's cheering for the Sens now since they want the Cup to come to Canada, but I'm still rooting for Jersey and Anaheim!! And since Anaheim's playing tonight, go Anaheim!! Kick some Wild posteriors!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! The suspense is evil!! Roy isn't going to announce whether or not he's retiring until the end of the Stanley Cup final!!! I wanna know!! If he's already decided, why can't he just tell us now? Argh!!
Honestly, I'm not a curious person by nature--I can know that people have secrets, or know that a friend is trying to surprise me with a gift or something without feeling the slightest desire to know what's going on before it's revealed to me--but this is bugging me! Same with Forsberg! Why won't they just end the suspense and let us know what they're planning to do? I mean, maybe Forsberg isn't sure yet, but Roy's 90% sure! Does he really think somehow that 10% uncertainty is going to work to make him change his mind by the end of the playoffs?
Bah. I'm just being whiny. It's not like he owes us anything, and I'm sure he has his reasons. I just want to know NOW.
Die Wild, die!!!! ^_~ Mwa ha ha ha ha!!! I watched part of the second period of the Anaheim-Minnesota game last night, then I had to check email and do other stuff so I forgot to catch the end of it, but I did check the final score and I was SO happy when I saw that Giguere had posted his second shut-out of the series!!! Mwa ha ha ha ha!!! How appropriate: the Ducks lay another egg on the Wild!! Yeah, the term is "goose egg" but close enough. =P
Go Ducks go!! I really really hope that they beat Minnesota's butt! A clean sweep would be nice, but any way they win would be good enough for me. I really think they can do it too. Watching just that part of the second period, I could see that they were getting lots and lots of chances. Unlike Vancouver, it seems like they figured out pretty early (in the series) how to beat the Wild's defensive style.
Ah, other interesting news is that the Flyers are trying to get rid of Cechmanek. I feel kind of bad for him, because I know he's had lots of personal/family issues (read about it in the Hockey News) but at the same time, I don't really like him as a goalie, so I'm not that sympathetic. He's just got that awful ugly style, even if it is quite effective in the regular season. Still, it's a bad way to go, and I don't know if he's got the recovery power of, say, Belfour. I mean, Belfour got dumped after an awful season, but that just pushed him to play really well, to prove to everyone that he's still got it. Cechmanek, from that article, seems to be a more fragile goaltender. I don't know if he could bounce back in the same way, or with as much success. I rather see the start of a downward spiral. Poor guy. Of course I could be dead wrong, since I haven't exactly been following Cechmanek all that closely, so maybe I'm completely misreading his character.
Man, I hope the Leafs try to get some YOUNG talent this year. I mean, Svehla (whom I quite liked) is gone, and Renberg's considering retiring or leaving or something too. Feels like if we don't start building now, we're going to have some very ugly years ahead. I mean, our prospects are okay, but I don't think they're anything all that special.
Speaking of prospects, I'm glad Tellqvist did pretty well in the final. I've mentioned this a couple of times I know, but at the beginning of the year I read an article about him and I've been anxious to see how he develops this entire year. I was so happy when he got the win after Kid injured himself and he had to fill in (not that I was glad that Kidd hurt himself, of course).
Ah, and bringing up the world championships, honestly, I wonder if Canadians aren't going to give themselves a bad rep in the international hockey community with this loonie business. I mean, if I wasn't a Canadian I would want to do everything possible to prevent Canadians from doing anything other than getting on the ice to warm up and to play, for fear that they'd try to plant a loonie somewhere. Maybe it's just me, but the hockey (as with other sports, I would imagine) world seems pretty superstitious to me.
Anyway, it was a great thing to win, and the story about Anson Carter's mother asking for gold for Mother's Day WAS very cute. It'd be cuter if I was a bigger Carter fan, but after having him on my hockey pool, I'm a bit disenchanted with his inconsistency. I still think he has potential, but yeah, I'm going to have to see some consistency before I improve my opinion of him. But it's great that he got the gamewinner, and I certainly admit that he's done well for Canada.
Whew. That was quite a lot. Oh except, one last thing: good for Burke sticking up for Cloutier!! I've never liked the idea of finding one scapegoat for a team's failures. Again, taking my example of Belfour, I hope that Cloutier will exhibit the same kind of character and show everyone what he's got and silence the boo-birds with some stellar play next season.
Yes, I know that one game does not a series make, but nonetheless I am EXTREMELY happy that the Ducks managed to shut out the Wild!! Mwa ha ha ha ha!! Go Ducks go!! Maybe this makes me a bandwagon jumper, but I'm really starting to like Giguere!! ^_^ Not only is he an awersome goalie, but he's got a refreshing attitude too. I like the fact that he wants to have as much fun as possible, so he likes to talk to his teammates and stuff on gameday. There's nothing wrong with superstitions either--heck, I like Irbe partially because he had so many superstitions, and I thought that was "cute"--but it's cool that he recognizes that it is just a game, so he might as well have fun. ^_^
In other news, Canada beat Czech on Friday! Woohoo!! We're going to be playing against Sweden for the gold starting 9:30am EST Sunday! I wish I could watch that game...Canada with Smyth, Reinprecht, Heatley, Comrie, Carter, etc. against Forsberg, Sundin and co. for Sweden. Heheh...Oh, and I feel kind of bad for him, but didn't I say all this year that Salo's a bum? Well, he's been pulled for Tellqvist, of all people. =P Poor guy. Unfortunately, it's not all that shocking...
Have I said it here before? Probably, but I'll say it again: from now on, I'm sticking with French goalies for hockey pools! Think about it: Brodeur, Roy, Giguere...They're just good! Of course, I'm going to be contending with everyone else in the pool, but hopefully I'll be able to stick to the plan and my goaltending won't be quite as much of an ordeal as it was this year. For certain I'd never pick Salo again: he's on my permanent blacklist. =P
Argh!! It's 12am here, so I can't stay up to watch the end of the game, or I'll risk being too tired for my exam tomorrow! Darn darn darn!!! When I wake up there'd better be some good Canucks news, or there's going to be heck to pay!!
Bertuzzi's goal, boy, you can't get much prettier than that! I'm really glad for him. ^_^ And the little hug from Naslund was so cute too. I
The Wild goal, that was just bad luck. Ugh. I don't think I've really seen a much weirder one than that before. Darn Dupuis for being at the right place at the wrong time!!! (-_-#)
I can't believe the Canucks have been outscored what, 12-3 in the past few games!! I know they work better under pressure, but this is pushing it a bit. Besides, you don't have the same momentum when you let your opponent come back from a 3-1 series lead as when you're the one coming back!! Argh. I'm thinking Steph shouldn't have gone back to Vancouver. She got back just in time for Monday's blow out. Well, definitely that's a good argument she can use for staying here next summer: if she goes back home, the Canucks'll lose (that's assuming they're still in the playoffs next year by the time she goes back home). BOOO!!! I don't want the Wild to win!! Grrr....
In other news, I was so upset about the way my Japanese exam went today I started looking around eBay when I got home. What do you think, am I crazy for considering the buy it now options on this, this, and/or this? If you don't feel like clicking the links, the first one is a set of 17 Joe Sakic cards, the second a 1998 Starting Lineup figure of Sakic with the Cup, and the third (and most intriguing) is an authentic Joe Sakic US one dollar bill. Yes, I realize that I'm pretty close to broke right now, but I'm starting work next week, and I've still got one day's pay from working with my mom due! =P
I wonder if I should make a new layout for the RHF: Main page? If I do, I was thinking of either Roy, Forsberg or Kaberle. Hmm...Maybe I should just start making the layouts and then wait until September (or whenever we find out about Roy and Forsberg's futures with the Avs) before I make the change. If either Roy or Forsberg leaves the Avs, then I could use that layout as a kind of tribute. If both of them come back, I'll still have to choose, but later. =P Yes, that's me, always procrastinating.
Oh yeah, and I REALLY REALLY hope the Canucks win tonight!!! I don't want them to be pushed to another game seven!! Go Canucks go!!
Oh my. There's a contest at Molson to design a Don Cherry tie, so if you want to work on your skills of tacky and garish, go for it! =P If nothing else, the tie designing application is kind of fun. There are WAY too many entries already, so it's going to be quite a chore to actually go through them all to vote. @_@
Woohoo!! Finally there is a Joe Sakic Fanlisting!!! I signed up, of course! ^_^ The site's pretty interesting too; the webmistress is running a survivor style "sexiest Avalanche player" poll. Actually, when I voted I did stop and think for a bit, deciding between Forsberg and Sakic. Since I'm not good at judging physical appearance, of course in the end I went for my favourite, Sakic. I think Forsberg's got cool eyes, which is why I had to stop and think. =P
Speaking of Forsberg, my friend Sam got me a Forsberg rookie card when he went to the Sports Card Expo!!! ^____^ Of course he's wearing a Philly jersey (ew!) but that's okay. Heheheh...He looks so nerdy! I don't know why, but I tend to like people more when I find out they've got a nerdy side--like Kariya.
Oh, and it's been a while since my friend first showed me this site, so I guess I can plug it now: Divealanche.com. Honestly, when I first saw it I was "hmph"-ing a lot, but I was actually quite torn between outrageous amusement and great insult on behalf of the Avs. Now I think I'm leaning towards the amusement side. I mean, what's the point of being a fan if you don't have a sense of humour? Besides, you've got to admire someone who would spend that much time on something like that site! ^_~ Nothing anyone says will convince me that Forsberg is a diver (although his nick "Foppa" really does work well with the Divealanche nick "Floppa"), but hey, chacun son goût!
Argh. Really gotta study Japanese! (Heh, take a look at LS and compare the time I said that there and here--obviously I'm not getting a lot of studying done. ^^;;)
Oh, and I found a Modano fanlisting too, which I considered joining for about five minutes, but then realized that I'm not really that big a fan, even though I really respect and admire his charity/foundation work.
Mwa ha ha!! There go the Stars! =P Sorry miyu! Maybe it's being unpatriotic, but I kind of hope the Ducks win the Cup. Of course, that means they'd have to beat out Vancouver (sorry Lisa, sorry Steph). Speaking of Vancouver, they'd darn well better beat the Wild!! Argh. Stupid Wild.
Ottawa beat Philly too. No real surprise there, with Cechmanek and all. Even though they're Canadian, I kind of hope they lose to New Jersey. Don't ask me why, I just like New Jersey better.
Actually, didn't I mention that a while ago? That I'd like to see a Ducks-Devils final? Well, I still hold to that. =P
Sorry, if I'm not sounding all that intelligent, well, I haven't exactly been up to date on hockey recently. ^^;;
